Pat’s family background is of an Eastern Arrernte person whose connect to country/community has been disrupted by his mother’s removal in Alice Springs in the mid-1950s. Even though this has occurred, he strongly identifies as both a person of Eastern Arrernte background, and the Sultan family.

Over the past 20 years, his family has reconnected with his mother’s family and has recently travelled with his young family back to Country in Central Australia.

Through his business We Create Print Deliver and artwork, Pat has been able to connect strongly with community and create a conduit into building his personal identity.
